Hira College was established in 2003 at 304_A Satellite Town - rented accommodation. It was shifted to its own purpose built campus located in Green Town near General Bus Stand Sargodha. The new five storey building has a covered area of approximately 65000 sq feet. It has spacious Class Rooms and Labs equipped with latest tools and equipment required for practical's prescribed in the syllabus. It also has modern Computer Lab. The library has sufficient number of books and periodicals.

The institution started with three year DAE Electronics. In 2004, DAE Electrical was also introduced. In 2007, two new technologies i.e. DAE Civil and DAE Instrument were introduced. In 2014, DAE Mechanical is being introduced (Subject to approved).

Hira college has started general education i.e. F.Sc ( pre med & pre engg ), ICS, I.COM, F.A & Matric Tech classes from July 2011.

The primary aim of the institution is not only to impart knowledge of the prescribed courses of studies to students but also to groom their personality and inculcate in them a sense of responsibility, confidence, commitment and dedication towards the society and country
